What is the Vibe Score?
The Vibe Score is PartyNow's secret weapon for finding the hottest events in real-time. It's a dynamic 0-100 score that shows how popular an event is right now, not just how many tickets were sold weeks ago.
Think of it as a heat detector for nightlife. When an event starts getting bookmarked, shared, and viewed by hundreds of users, the Vibe Score shoots up. This helps you discover trending events before they sell out.
How We Calculate It
The Vibe Score algorithm analyzes multiple engagement signals in real-time:
- Bookmarks: How many users saved this event to attend later
- Shares: Events being shared with friends get higher scores
- Views: Total views in the last 24 hours
- Click-through rate: How many people click through to get tickets
- Recency boost: Recent activity weighs more than older engagement
Why Vibe Scores Matter
Traditional event discovery relies on ticket sales or follower counts. But that doesn't tell you what's hot right now. An event might have sold only 50 tickets but have a Vibe Score of 95 because everyone's talking about it today.
